Should I buy leadership training for people who are not yet "leaders?"
First, leadership potential used to be identified by a credentialed resume, higher education, job experience, and physical attributes like gender, ethnicity, age, and appearance. This narrow view created an extremely shallow pool from which to draw great leaders. But no more! What is the main purpose of the program?
To make your job easier by equipping your people to lead themselves well. To be self-aware, personally responsible, internally motivated, & respectful of others. To properly manage their emotions and reactions, especially in a crisis. To assess the information presented and make good decisions. To identify what is in their realm of responsibility and actively pursue positive progress. To evaluate their actions and course correct the next time. To look for solutions that serve the greater good rather than personal interest.
What do I need to do to prep the participants for the program?
As much or as little as you want. We will provide an announcement email with a welcome video for the participants and onboard them for effectiveness & efficiency once inside the course.
What core values is the course delivering to the team?
Self-awareness, self-control, self-evaluation, acute awareness of others, inclusion, patience, teamwork, curiosity, commitment, compassion, confidence, service, ownership, responsibility, and right action.
Can an individual take it and it be effective or does it need to be a group of people doing it together?
The course will be a solid investment for one person or a team of 100+. The benefit of putting multiple people through the program, is that you create a shared language and raise the team’s consciousness regarding interpersonal interactions and the quality of their work.
How will I know if the participants are using the coursework after the course ends?
Upon completion, participants will be well versed in the STRONGER Method. They will have a shared language for executing responsibilities, holding each other accountable, resolving conflict, and making decisions. This common language can be used as a framework to coach, motivate, troubleshoot, plan and correct errors. It will only get stronger as you use it.
How many employees can I have in the program at once?
As many as you like. The enrollment fees decreases as your enrollment number increases.
Is the program good for team building?
It’s perfect for team building. If you choose to enroll your team, we will provide a digital group leader manual with team building exercises and discussion starters.
Your team will have a shared language for distributing responsibilities, executing decisions, resolving conflict, and planning for the future. The STRONGER acronym can be used as a framework to coach, motivate, troubleshoot, identify growth areas and correct errors.
What if an employee doesn’t complete the program?
As with anything, the program works to the extent someone chooses to participate. If an employee doesn’t complete the program of if they leave the organization before the course is complete, we’ll apply a credit with no expiration date to your account. This credit can be used to enroll another employee at any time of your choosing.
What work do I need to do while the course is in motion?
You stay focused on the important work you’re already doing. We’ll send you 4 progress reports, one at the end of each week, to keep you updated on engagement. We expect by the end of week two, you will begin to notice a marked difference in awareness level and ownership by those who are using the course.
How much does it cost? And are there group discounts?
The cost decreases as you enroll more participants for a specific start date. Group discounts are based on cohorts: teams of people beginning and ending the course together. To establish the price for your group, see our pricing page.
